Full Description
Opened May 1961. Closed October 1968.
Underground post vanished. Aircraft observation tower, perhaps older, remains; one ground floor room, two above it (one with no roof) Ministry of Defence wooden hut has reappeared in a neighbouring garden. See (S1).

This record was mis-located [1]. The grid reference recorded in the published survey results (S1) places the surviving brick tower 50m to the east, on the edge of arable field, adjacent to the rear gardens of Little Lane. The brick structure is visible on APGB aerial photography taken in 2019 (S2), and is is extant but apparently covered with ivy by 2022.
