Cropmarks of a series of enclosures, trackways, boundaries and a possible building, of an unknown date, are visible on aerial photographs (S3-S4). The cropmarks of the possible building are centred at TF 7407 0214 and are visible on S4. It is also possible that this feature could instead relate to internal subdivisions within the larger enclosure forming a rectangular shape. The dare of the site is unknown. A medieval to post medieval date for the features is probable. However, an earlier Iron Age to Roman date cannot be ruled out.
J. Powell (Norfolk County Council Environment Service), 05 May 2026
