Full Description
5 June 1973. OS air photography, see (S1).
Possible ring ditch.
See file.
D. Voisey, (NAU) 9 August 1995.
February 2026. HER Enhancement: Forestry Commission Project K.
The above possible ring ditch likely relates to a former post medieval pond or extraction pit mapped on the Ordnance Survey 1st edition 6" map (S2) at the same location. The cropmarks (S3) also align with a pit feature visible as a low earthwork on the visualised lidar data from a survey flown in 2022 (S4).
