The site of a former post medieval pond can be seen as an earthwork on aerial photographs taken in 1946, before being subsequently levelled. (S2-S5). The pond is visible as an earthwork on S2, has been levelled on S3, and can be seen as cropmark on S4 and S5. The pond is also visible on S7 and S8 but is not recorded on S6. As the pond has been recorded in good detail on S7 and S8, the feature has not been mapped as part of this project. The pond most likely dates to the post medieval period and may have related to Necton Hall situated approximately 650m to the southeast. The monument polygon has been updated to the position of the feature as seen on S2.
