Summary

This is the very approximate location for a disused windmill within an area that was occupied by a fertiliser factory lying north of Mill Lane. Two mills shown here on a map of 1838, but only the one remained by the 1883 map. The factory was moved to Haddiscoe around 1900 when area developed for housing.
