Post medieval to modern field boundaries are seen as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs and recent (2017) visualised lidar data (S2-S7). The field boundaries are recorded on the readily available historic maps (S8-S10) and are visible as extant earthworks on S1. As the field boundaries are recorded in good detail on the historic maps, they have not been mapped as part of this project. The boundaries have been removed by the 1970s (S3-S4) and can be seen as cropmarks on recent (2006 and 2022) aerial photographs (S5-S6) and as low earthworks on the recent (2017) visualised lidar data (S7). The cropmarks were previously (see above) interpreted as an undated sub-rectangular enclosure. The monument polygon has been updated to the extent of the features as seen on the aerial sources.
