Full Description
1980. Stray Find.
Found at [1]:
1 Neolithic flaked flint adze or axehead.
Two Neolithic flint implements from Wighton (an adze and an axehead) were brought in for identification in 2000 (Enquiry E1783) and although two find spots were reported it appears that it was unclear which implement had came from which location. The second find spot is at [2] and recorded as NHER 35638.
See drawings (S1) and (S2) and descriptions by P. Robins (NCM) in file.
Amended by P. Watkins (HES), 18 February 2019.
