Summary

In 1980 a Neolithic flaked flint core tool was recovered at this location. Around this time another Neolithic implement was found approximately 3km to the north-west. One was an axehead and the other an adze but unfortunately it is not known which was found at which location.

Found at [1]:
1 Neolithic flaked flint adze or axehead.

Two Neolithic flint implements from Wighton (an adze and an axehead) were brought in for identification in 2000 (Enquiry E1783) and although two find spots were reported it appears that it was unclear which implement had came from which location. The second find spot is at [2] and recorded as NHER 35638.
