Summary

Peafields Mill is a former tower windmill built in the late 18th century, and visible on a map published in 1883. This eight storey building is of painted brick with a rendered plinth and a conical lead roof. It is entered on the first floor by a 20th century external stair, and there are two 20th century balconies.

"No. 72 Eleanor Road.
Formerly listed as Windmill (Tower Roller Mills)
Former tower windmill. Late 18th century. Painted brick with rendered plinth; conical lead roof. Eight storeys; entered on first floor by 20th century external stair. Two 20th century balconies. Pivoted windows with glazing bars. No sails."
