2000. Stray find.
Neolithic polished flint axe (S1), 117mm by 41mm by 23mm - partly polished axe in buff/pale grey flint with a porcelain like patina and sparse spotty iron chaining. Slight damage to the cutting edge, which is otherwise sharp and, recently, to the pointed butt. Both lateral edges are sinuous and one exhibits pronounced step flaking.
