Summary

Sporadic metal-detecting between 1999 and 2025 recovered medieval and post-medieval coins, post-medieval tokens, as well as Late Iron Age to Roman and Middle Saxon to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a Late Iron Age to Roman brooches; Middle and Late Saxon strap fittings; a Late Saxon mount; a Late Saxon/medieval harness fitting; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; medieval rotary keys, a seal matrix, thimble, brooch, harness mounts, harness pendant, writing lead and book fitting; medieval/post-medieval thimble and central swivel loop from a purse frame and post-medieval harness mounts, a cloth seal, pipe tamper, rotary key, lead weight, spur fragment and powder charge cap or measure.
