Summary

Metal-detecting at this location between 1999 and 2025 recovered Roman and medieval coins and a range of other metal objects, including Roman brooches, finger rings and a copper alloy pin; a Middle/Late Saxon brooch; a Late Saxon buckle, strap end and Anglo-Scandinavian brooch; a medieval buckle, book fitting and lead spoon and post-medieval buckles, a mount and bell fragment.
