Summary

Sporadic metal-detecting between 2007 and 2025 recovered a Neolithic flint scraper; undatable probable silver metal-working debris; Roman and medieval coins and a number of other metal objects, including a Middle Saxon brooch; medieval strap ends, a buckle, harness hook, mirror case, mount and book fitting and a post-medieval crotal bell and silver probable reliquary pendant.

January-February 2000. Field observation. Spixworth Field 24. [1].
Scraper: rounded end and left side scraper on almost circular secondary flake of dark grey flint with pale inclusions; slight patination only. Length 58mm.
Flake is well formed, probably soft hammer struck and with a very small platform. Cortex is weathered nodule. Neolithic.
