Summary

Sporadic metal-detecting between 2000 and 2016 recovered Roman and ?Early Saxon pottery sherds; post-medieval tokens and jettons and undated, Roman and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. The metal objects include undated metalworking debris; Roman brooches; a medieval buckle; a medieval/post-medieval swivel from a leash, a rowel spur, button, and copper alloy vessel legs and post-medieval dress accessories, a sword belt mount, harness mounts, a furniture fitting, silver eye plate from a dress fastener, spur side and a thimble.
