Full Description
November 2000 and December 2001. Woodland Earthwork Rapid Identification Survey.
Buckenham Tofts Park. Management Unit O, Site 177:
Finds from molehills, within an area of approximately 100m x 30m.
1 undatable prehistoric pottery sherd (possibly Iron Age, base sherd, faint gritted, reduced with one pale brown surface surviving)
2 Iron Age/Early Saxon pottery sherds (handmade sandy reduced).
6 medieval pottery sherds (1 early medieval rim from very small vessel and 5 unglazed medieval base sherds).
1 undatable pottery sherd (dark base sherd, reduced sandy with very sparse shell inclusions).
