January 2001. Building Survey.
Exterior survey prior to the demolition of 20th century additions to the building confirmed that it is a two-storey, late 19th century building. At the northern end of the Pigg Lane elevation, a small 20th century extension was recorded. This extension was demolished as part of the redevelopment of the area at Bussey's Garage in 2001 (NHER 26442). Sometime during the 20th century this building was adjoined to 17 Palace Street (NHER 26364) and converted into bedsit units.
See report (S2) for further details. The results of this work are also summarised in (S3).
