Summary

During an excavation by the Norfolk Archaeological Unit in 2001 several inhumations were revealed, probably of Late Saxon date, as well as medieval pottery and post medieval finds. Subsequent negative archaeological interventions in the vicinity of these burials suggest that they lay close to the cemetery's northern and eastern margins.
