Amended by P. Beers (HES), 24 April 2020.

(S2) (in file) says the house may have begun as a timber framed hall house, and has been known as The Residence, and Wensum Cottage and was sold in 1902 to the owner of Gunton's Brickyard who may have added the façade and chimneys. Certainly the listing description sounds odd in places. This building would benefit from a proper survey.
