Summary

Many metal finds from the Roman to the post medieval period have been recovered from this site by metal detecting. Highlights include a Roman dolphin brooch, a Late Saxon stirrup mount and a medieval buckle plate decorated with a fleur de lis design. A Roman coin of Trajan minted between 103 and 117 AD was also found.
