26 March 2001. Watching Brief.
An archaeological watching brief was maintained on groundworks for two proposed dwellings on land adjoining Moat Farm, Whinburgh. No deposits or features of archaeological significance were observed, and no finds recovered. Apart from a small area of pond infill, undisturbed natural clay was seen to underlie the development area.
