Summary

Archaeological evaluations here in 2001 recorded no features of interest. A limited number of finds were recovered and these included prehistoric flints and pottery sherds from the prehistoric, medieval and post medieval period.

June 2001. Trial Trenching.
Six trenches excavated in area of proposed residential development (Sites T3, T4 and T6).
No archaeologically significant features were revealed.
Finds included prehistoric flints and a possible prehistoric pottery sherd.
