Full Description
May/June 2001. Metal detecting.
Medieval copper alloy ampulla, handles missing, with scallop-shell ornament on one side, and on the other the letter R in a circle beneath the Annunciation lily-pot. The lily-pot refers to the Holy House at Walsingham, and the R to its founder, Richelde. Compare with example in (S1).
