Summary

Excavation revealed a series of five post medieval linear ditches which were probably boundaries between properties. Two post medieval pits were excavated. At least one of these was used for disposing rubbish.

Evaluation carried out in advance of housing development.
Most archaeological features revealed date to the early post-medieval period and comprised five linear ditches and two pits. The ditches probably served as property boundaries whilst at least one pit was probably used for rubbish disposal. No features or deposits associated with the Benedictine Priory (NHER 10725), which stood close by, were recorded.
