Summary

A ring ditch, probably marking the site of a Bronze Age round barrow, is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs. Fragments of additional probable ring ditches are visible 125m to the south (NHER 54642-3).

Cropmark of ring ditch clearly visible within crop, the ditch appears quite broad.
It is likely to be a Bronze Age funerary feature.

NMP mapping has resulted in the alteration of the central grid reference of the site from TG 1036 0290 to TG 1037 0291.
The ring ditch described above, which, as suggested, probably marks the site of a Bronze Age round barrow, is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs (S1)-(S2). It is broadly circular in plan and measures approximately 28.5m in diameter. Fragments of additional probable ring ditches are visible 125m to the south (NHER 54642-3).
