Summary

The cropmarks of a Bronze Age ring ditch, and linear features and peat cuttings of Roman date are visible on aerial photographs.

Cropmarks to the immediate south of Fen Causeway.
Several linears can be seen, they may be part of the Roman field systems that surround the site.
A ring ditch is located at around NGR TF 5698 0035.
A Roddon meanders across the site, to the east and south of this are rectilinear groups peat cutting marks, turbaries. This is likely to be Roman activity.
