Summary

A post medieval house that contains reused Late Saxon and medieval stonework in its southern wall. It was built around 1700 and altered and extended during the 19th century, before being internally gutted in the 20th century.

Reused material in house.
House of clunch and brick, probably originally about 1700, refenestrated and extended 19th century (traces of old windows remain), internally gutted 20th century.
In south wall are several fragments of worked limestone and a number of ironbound conglomerate.
See discussion of similar features in adjacent house (NHER 19435) which shows difficulty of accepting these came from the church.
