2001. 4 Westgate (Berry Cottage).
Finds of carved limestone jambs, windows, etc. in garden of house. No doubt from nearby demolished church, or else from Walsingham monasteries. Some now built into fireplace of house. The house itself dates from around 1700.

Building itself now added. The RW on the fireplace may stand for Richard Ward whose will was proved in 1674, if so suggesting a slightly earlier date for the house.
