Summary

A timber framed house, dating from the late 16th or early 17th centuries, and an upper floor inserted in the 18th or 19th century. On one of the internal beams is a ritual carving of 'AM', meaning 'Ave Maria'.

Ritual 'AM' mark for 'Ave Maria' carved on beam.
Late 16th/17th century. Upper floor raised, new roof 18th/19th century. Exterior altered about 1930.
