Full Description
July-August 2001. Metal-detecting.
1 medieval copper alloy strap-end and 1 ?staff terminal.
Identified by S. Ashley (NLA). See list and (S1) in file.

June-July 2001. Watching Brief. Extended to whole field [1].
Observation of trench dug for new electricity cable running between Bacton and North Walsham (Field 30).
No archaeologically significant features or deposits observed.
Unstratified finds recovered included:
8 ?prehistoric burnt flints.
