October 2001.
Found on shingle beach in mud exposed by sea, near low water line.
Large basal sherd, slightly sagging, of large bowl in profusely shelly fabric, reduced, with sooting internally and externally.
Not a 'local' product. Probably from Potter Hanworth, Lincolnshire.
13th or 14th century.
Diameter of basal angle 340mm.
