The cropmarks of a probable Bronze Age ring ditch (see above) are seen on aerial photographs (S1-S2). The ring ditch most likely relates to the site of a Bronze Age round barrow. Three internal pit features can be seen within the ring ditch. The pit features are most likely archaeological in origin; however, it is also possible that the pit features may relate to an area of geological cropmarks seen across the site. The monument polygon has been amended to the extent of the ring ditch as seen on S1-S2.
