Summary

Metal-detecting between 2001 and 2018 recovered Roman, Middle Saxon, medieval and post-medieval coins as well as Roman and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a Roman knife handle; a medieval brooch pin and papal bulla; medieval/post-medieval copper alloy vessel fragments, a vessel repair rivet, lead writing stylus, purse bar fragment and spindle whorl and post-medieval furniture fittings, a cloth seal, book clasp, strap fitting or dress fitting and silver dress hook fragment.
