Summary

A watching brief during the excavation of trenches in 2001 recorded a possibly medieval human skeleton and a medieval or post medieval flint and mortar wall.

Undertaken during refurbishment work.
Trenches revealed a skeleton, possibly of medieval date.
Also a medieval or post-medieval flint and mortar wall and medieval deposits.
Post-medieval make-up deposits just below present-day ground level.
