Map

22 July 1996. NLA air photography.
Cropmarks of linear features, 2 ring ditches and at least one possible enclosure are visible. The exact origin of these features is unknown. There are, however, some linear features to be seen within the area that are clearly connected to the current field layout etc. and are probably some form of drainage. The ring ditches could possibly have their origins as stack stands (Riley circles) - circular ditches providing drainage around haystacks - broadly medieval in date, but this is not certain.
