Map

22 July 1996. NLA aerial photography.
Cropmarks of linear features visible.
However, many field boundaries marked on the 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey map (S1) can also be seen as cropmarks, which together with geological 'noise' is causing some confusion on image.
H. Clare (NLA) 10 January 2002.

February 2008. Norfolk NMP.
Earthworks and cropmarks of medieval to post medieval field boundaries are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S4). A group of rectilinear enclosures, pits, ponds and field boundaries are present as cropmarks to the southeast of the present settlement of Runcton Holme. Many of the cropmarks correspond to field boundaries marked on the second edition 25 inch to the mile Ordnance Survey map (S1) and some were still extant in 1946 (S6). Other ditch cropmarks, possibly relating to earlier boundaries, are also present. It is likely that all of the cropmarks in this group are of medieval to post medieval date.
J. Albone (NMP), 22 February 2008.

May 2026. HER Enhancement: Forestry Commission Project K.
The cropmarks of the medieval to post medieval field boundaries (see above) are visible on aerial photographs from 2006 (S7). Some of the boundaries are also visible as low earthworks on visualised lidar data from a survey flown in 2018 (S8).
J. Powell (Norfolk County Council Environment Service), 26 May 2026
