D. Gurney (NLA), 6 February 2002.

March 2018. 'Brecks from Above' and Breckland National Mapping Programme.
The 0.5m resolution lidar data (S2) shows fragmentary banks and ditches along the line of this boundary [1]. A wider, parallel bank is visible to the south, but was not included in mapping, as it relates to Broom Belt and is depicted on historic maps.
S. Horlock (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 7 March 2018.

September-October 2019. Watching Brief.
Monitoring of groundworks associated with installation of new fence.
The trench for this new fence crossed the line of a west-north-west to east-south-east aligned bank visible on LIDAR imagery between TL 7450 8980 and TL 7479 8975 (Bank 2; NHER 66825 Context 2) that was clearly related to the features in this group.
It was though found that this bank had already been levelled by an existing trackway at the point where its line was crossed by the new fence. The remainder of this section of bank was almost entirely removed by subsequent deep ploughing undertaken at this location to create new habitat for stone curlews.
See report (S3) and NHER 66825 for further details.
P. Watkins (HES), 13 March 2023.
