Full Description
1944 and 1948. RAF air photography.
A probable medieval saltern is visible as an earthwork and soilmark at TF 6472 2808 Ssouthwest of Wolferton.
The mound seems to have been overlain by a later sea bank on its north and west sides.
The mound is one of a number in this area.
