Full Description
1971. Ordnance Survey air photography.
An apparent mound is visible as an earthwork on the reclaimed marsh at TF 6486 2575 between the Babingley River and North Wootton. The feature appears to have had its west side tuncated.
The mound may be a saltern (of which there are a large number to the west) but may equally be of natural origins.
A. Miller (Suffolk County Council NMP), 7 July 2000.
