Full Description
1944 & 1967. RAF and Ordnance Survey air photography.
A large probable medieval saltern is visible as an earthwork and soilmark at TF 6355 2630, northwest of North Wootton.
Actually at TF 6355 2630 is a disturbance which may mark the site of the saltcote.
The mound is one of a large group in the area.
