Full Description
1948 & 1966. RAF and Ordnance Survey air photography.
A possible medieval saltern is visible as an earthwork at TF 6342 2547, northwest of North Wootton.
However, the presence of a former marsh channel just to the west may indicate that this feature is merely accumulated ditch clearance debris.
See NMP plot (S1) in file.
