Summary
Aerial photographs taken in 1948 and 1966 show the earthwork of a probable medieval saltern mound. It is one of a large number in the area, and is partially overlain by a post medieval sea bank.

Full Description
1948 & 1966. RAF and Ordnance Survey air photography.
A probable medieval slatern is visible as an earthwork and soilmark at TF 6346 2519, northwest of North Wootton.
The mound is one of a large group in this area and is partially overlain by a post medieval sea bank.
