December 2001/January 2002. Metal detecting.
Medieval copper alloy gilt buckle, small oval with narrowed offset bar, knops linked by slight curving ridge enclose pin notch, shett pin, 15 x 17mm.
Medieval copper alloy buckle, rectangular with integral bevelled plate, frame decorated with transverse lines, plate has oblique lines forming lozengy pattern, drilled hole for pin, integral rivet on reverse, 33 x 17mm. ?Early 13th century.
