Summary

Metal-detecting and fieldwalking between 2001 and 2023 recovered Early Neolithic and Neolithic/Bronze Age worked flints; Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; a medieval jetton; post-medieval tokens and a range of other Roman and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include a Roman terret, hairpin, handle from unidentified iron implement and unidentified copper alloy object; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; a medieval copper alloy vessel fragment; a medieval/post-medieval mount and a post-medieval a sword-belt fitting, rotary key, pendent crucifix, harness mount, toy cannon, crotal bell, lead cloth seals and lead weight.

Post medieval casket key, solid stem projecting beyond simple ward, moulded collar and two internal projections in D shaped bow. Length 35mm. 16th or 17th century.
