Summary

An earthwork hollow that may be the remains of flint mining or extraction. However, the depression may also have a military origin. A similar depression has been noted nearby, see NHER 37060.

Management Unit L2, Site 129:
Sub-circular depression, 0.5m deep and partially surrounded by spoil banks. Potentially of military origin, although a pre-military origin, perhaps for flint extraction, is possible. Similar to nearby NHER 37060.
