Summary

Metal detecting here in 2002 and 2005 recovered Mesolithic and Early Neolithic worked flints; a Roman pottery sherd; Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; post-medieval jettons and tokens and Iron Age to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a possible Iron Age terret; a Roman finger ring; an Early Saxon brooch; a Late Saxon brooch; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; a medieval horse-harness pendant; a ?medieval patrix; medieval/post-medieval copper alloy vessel fragments and a post-medieval ramrod pipe/retaining thimble, silver calender fragment, crotal bell, lead cloth seal and lead weight.

4 post-medieval coins, 1 ?jetton, 2 jettons, 2 tokens, 1 ramrod pipe/retaining thimble (S2), 3 buckle frames, 4 buttons, 2 belt mounts, 1 sword belt mount, 1 belt strap-slide, 1 thimble, 1 copper alloy vessel fragment, 1 furniture/harness stud, 1 knife-end stop, 1 crotal bell, 1 silver calender fragment, 1 lead cloth seal and 1 lead weight.
