Summary

Metal-detecting undertaken between 1999 and 2024 recovered Late Iron Age/Roman, Roman and medieval pottery sherds; undated undated casting waste; Late Iron Age, Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins and a range of other, undated and Roman to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include a Roman finger ring and seal box; Early Saxon brooches; a Middle Saxon pin and possible spoon handle; a Late Saxon disc brooch; a medieval brooch, harness pendant, lead seal matrices and lead spindle whorl and a post-medieval dress hook, spur, sword quillion and lead seal matrix.
