Summary

Metal detecting recovered a medieval ampulla or pilgrim's flask. The flask depicts a large crown on one side and a shield of arms on the other. The large crown may refer to Our Lady, The Queen of Heaven.

Medieval copper alloy ampulla, large crown on one side, other side with shield of arms: A roundel between in chief a chevron and in base a bar. Like (S1). The large crown may refer to Our Lady, The Queen of Heaven. The arms are unidentified.
