Full Description
May 2001. Desk-based Assessment and Walkover survey.
Stage 2 DMRB Environmental Assessment of proposed Thetford Southern Link Road.
No finds or features were identified within this area during the walkover survey.

August 2002. Watching Brief.
Monitoring of geotechnical test pits.
No archaeological finds or features were observed in these test pits.

November 2002. Geophysical Survey and Systematic Fieldwalking and Metal-detecting Survey.
Evaluation of proposed route of Thetford Southern Link Road (Route Option B).
The geophysical survey revealed extensive later disturbance, possibly associated with the development of RAF Barnham.
The metal-detector and fieldwalking surveys revealed a low density of prehistoric flint debitage, post medieval pottery sherds and ceramic building material and bottle glass.
