Summary

An evaluation in 2002 noted no archaeological finds or features. There was evidence of large-scale truncation of the former land surfaces, associated with the construction of the 1950s housing estate within which the North Star public house stood.

Evaluation of proposed development site at former North Star public house, Lady Jane Grey Road.
No archaeological artefacts or remains were found. Evidence was found of probable large-scale truncation of the former land surface, associated with the construction of the 1950s housing estate in which the North Star public house stood.
