Summary

This 17th century timber framed house was extended to the east in the 18th century and coated in brick in the 20th century. It also has 19th century casements. It has been extended by the addition of an imported timber framed French barn.

(S1) says 17th century timber framed house extended to east in 18th century, coated in brick in 20th century. Gabled, black pantiles, central stack. Two storeys with 19th century casements. Later outshuts. Chamfered beams and joists in older section. In 2002 owners received planning permission to import a timber framed barn from St Gilles, France and use it as an extension to the house.
