June 2002. Metal detecting.
Medieval copper alloy gilt annular brooch (diameter 27mm), chamfered with stamped annulets on arris, constriction for pin and pin-rest flanked by twin concave mouldings between transverse bars and two quatrefoils, flat back inscribed with: M N N (both N's are retrograde) between three crosses potent. (S1).
